After 10 wonderful years Tracey is retiring from her job as Chorus Director. We are very grateful to Tracey for sharing her talents with us for such a long time and putting all her energy into leading and educating us with endless patience and caring. We are very sad to see her go and honestly a little worried that it will be very hard to find someone to fill her shoes.
But, needs must, and we have launched a Director search campaign on June 28th, and are asking everyone we know to help us spread the word, including our readers. You can find the information on our website and Facebook Page. If you know anyone who might be interested, please share the information.

| Food Drive results: and the total weight is…… |

In our April issue of Notes from the Risers, we announced the Food Drive held on May 1st. A big thank you goes out to everyone who participated because it was a great success! We donated 345kg of food to Moisson Montréal, one of the largest food banks in Canada. Three of our members drove up to one of their loading docks and off-loaded our collection straight into one of their distribution containers. We were then treated to a tour of their facilities. The amount of work, planning, and organization required to run a facility like this is impressive, and we are proud to support such a wonderful organization.

| Prom night and longevity awards |

We may not be able to see each other live, but we still know how to have fun! On June 28th the chorus held their Prom Night via Zoom. Moving, singing, bingo, and awards were on the program for the evening.
