The Chorus Turned 55 in August 2021! |
55 years of song, harmony, performances, fun, and friendships. Celebration was not in the picture this year, but doesn't it seem like yesterday we celebrated our 50th anniversary in style, as Sweet Adelines do?
If you were there and want to remenisce, or you were not and would like to know what it was all about, check out these links to relive the moment: Brunch, Show, Afterglow
You can download the memory book we published for the occasion from our website: 50 Years of Memories.
We also have a few bound copies available at a discounted price. Please contact merchandising@acappellasoundschorus.ca if you would like to purchase one.

On August 26, 2021, after an interview with our very own Wendy Davies, The West Island Section of the Gazette published an article about our history, our passion, and our trials and tribulations caused by the Covid pandemic.
The full article, authored by Carolyn Boll : Acappella Sounds Chorus beginning to set sail once again - West Island-based chorus weathering the pandemic together can be found on the home page of our website (Acappella Sounds Chorus - The Gazette) or at The Gazette's page (Acappella Sounds Chorus - Montreal Gazette).
Find out if you can learn something new about the chorus or if there's something old that you had forgotten about.

Return to In-person Rehearsals |
That's right! After 19 months of absence from our rehearsal hall, we are preparing to return to live rehearsals by mid-October.
Although these rehearsals will be very different from the ones we had before the pandemic, this is a step in the right direction. To be able to see and hear each other in person will be a real treat, not to mention hearing our sound when we sing harmony together! (Even with masks on!)
To protect ourselves and each other, the ACS Leadership Team is putting in place rules and limitations similar to those that apply to other public places and gatherings, as mandated by the government.
Let's hope it's uphill from here.
