After a 3-year absence, we were finally back in the spotlight with our 2022 Holiday concert on November 26th, and it was a great success. Not only did we have a blast organizing, preparing, rehearsing, and performing, but the 180 free tickets for the event in Christ Church Beaurepaire were booked in a flash. Family and friends attended in great numbers, joined us afterward for coffee and sweets, and donated a total of 1,229 $ to the chorus. We are so grateful to all our donors for the generous donations we received.

In 2022 we started a special holiday singers program. Via our social media, we invited ladies to come and sing 2 songs with us and perform them at our Holiday Concert. The response was overwhelming and 11 ladies joined us for 7 rehearsals leading up to the concert. We were also elated to see 4 of our alumni join us for the occasion; it was so great to see them and sing with them again. As we had hoped, some of our holiday singers stayed and are now full-time chorus members. We couldn't have hoped for a better outcome!

The Monday after our concert we made the day of the volunteers at West Island Mission when we dropped off 4 full carloads of food items received from our audience at the concert (see the photos on our website). These food items are much needed in our community and were very much appreciated by the organization.

| 2023 Contest - Springfield, here we come! |

This year, for the first time since 2019 we will be going to Regional contest in May. We will be presenting a whole new package which we hope will please the audience as well as the judges. It will be hard work, but with commitment, determination, and a lot of fun, we’re ready for the challenge.
For our members who joined since 2020, it will be their first contest. We are thrilled to share our experience with our newer members, and prepare them for this very special event in the life of the chorus.
